Write Your Goals and Be Consistent Each DayPosted: 10/20/2009
If you asked people on the street if each of them were happy with their current job or situation the majority of the answers would be " No." Why do you think that is? Not enough money? Too much stress? They hate their boss? I think a lot of the times we spend too much time on the things we dislike and not enough time on how we could correct the issues. Suppose today when you get home from work you select a period of the evening when you will have some quiet time. Take out a piece of paper and write down what you would like in your life or job. In order to start the career success process you really have to visualize what it is that you want. Write down as many things as you'd like. Instead of thinking of the negative think of the opposites. Think what would make those negatives more positive so your life is more enjoyable each day. When you have a list start making a little story out of the words. Suppose your list consists of these words: career, success, goal setting, more money, appreciated, promotions. You could make a little paragraph that states, " I'm sitting here at my desk at work in such wonderful enjoyment. My boss, who is the most pleasant person to be around, just called me in to his/her office to commend on my efforts, how much they appreciate me, I'm getting promoted, and proceeded to give me a raise. I feel so successful and having more money coming my way has really made my day." Then add this last statement for insurance, " Please make this happen in the ways of the highest good of me and everyone else involved." By adding this last sentence you are providing to the universe insurance to make your goal story happen. Now take this little story and read it 100 times. If anything in the story brings up feelings of conflict rewrite it until you don't feel those anymore. The reason to read it 100 times is to get it into your subconscious in order to get things rolling. Once all 4 parts of your brain agree on your story things will start to happen and eventually your goal story will be a reality. I hope you liked this little tip! This is a simple way to change the way you live and to accomplish any goal big or small. Keep tuned for more goal achieving articles!
